BUUUT also, if you’re already a working professional you can try and apply to vacancies here- LOOK FOR COMPANIES THAT OFFER VISA - in the IND website there’s a list of companies in NL that provides visa to their employees so you can start looking there (look for these jobs in linkedin, indeed, etc) you can also check IND website for anything visa related. You’ll probably get the highly skilled migrant visa if you work here (bc you will be an expat) and the benefits include the 30% ruling (which Im sadly not eligible for so Idk much abt it!! Sorry!!) all these info are probably in IND. ALSO I think if you’re a graduate from the top 10- or whatever- universities in the world you can also get a special visa to live here for a period of time, idk much abt it but if this is you, you can find more info on this!

So that way I was able to move here when I was around 17/18 bc I had to study here!

Just picked like 3-5 uni I wanted and they’ll take care of the application process for you. Obviously if your grades are or if you took the “wrong” courses then there’s also chances that you won’t get accepted. It’s not a golden ticket, it HEAVILY depends on your performance and grades. IB is a bit cutthroat for 16 yos as u can imagine. That’s basically it.

I’m kidding! Sadly I don’t have any special tips. My family is financially comfortable frankly speaking so I was and am very lucky to have them 🥰. So I’d say my journey started in high school because I took the IB diploma (this is kind of a high level SMA curriculum on crack, it was an expensive hell lored for young people) and that diploma/ijazah I got was enough to get me into a lot of international universities often without entrance test and english test (the SMA grades are enough, though this depends on the uni!) so that’s what I did. I think IB program permits your teacher/supervisors to submit the grades to the uni directly bc they’re trained for that so I

You can take the plane, they’re rather affordable during low season!
